Streetnote is a “street” audio archive. The mandate of streetnote is twofold. Its primary objective is to provide opportunities to local artists that play in the streets.

Its second objective is to communicate the voice of under-represented musicians to the general public. Streetnote exists to give these individuals a medium for free and full expression. Moreover, all the recording takes place in the street, engaging the performer as well as the listener onto this raw stage, making them aware of their “surroundings”.

Streetnote is a showcase for music and poetry, as well as a forum for street musicians to express themselves.
